At St. Andrew's we strongly believe that remote learning should be flexible and fun, and that regular contact with peers and school staff is key to children's wellbeing. Our remote learning package is designed to develop our pupil's excitement and passion for their learning and to help parents to support their children at home.
Please prioritise your own wellbeing, and that of your family at this uniquely challenging time, and let the school know if you need any additional support.
Maths, English and Foundation lessons will be set on daily basis via Google Classroom.
Google Classroom offers opportunities for children to take part in a positive virtual community with their classmates and school staff, to allow mutual support and celebration of achievements, attend collective worship, live lessons and ask questions to support their learning. The online classroom provides the focal point for all of your child's daily learning at home.
SEN pupils may benefit from accessing resources for the year group(s) below their current class, or from using paper-based resources. Mrs Dutaut, our SENCO, will contact families directly to discuss any specific needs, or feel free to get in touch, as below.
