We are a Foundation school with strong links to St. Andrew’s Church in Hatfield Peverel. Father Howard leads us in worship during our Harvest, Christmas and Easter services at the church and we celebrate through singing songs as a year group and children doing readings or prayers.

We also have members of Hatfield Peverel Methodist Church who come and run a lunchtime club with our children, focusing on craft activities centered around stories from the Bible.

We also believe it is crucial to expose children to a variety of different world-views, beliefs and cultures, which, in turn, helps them become more spiritually, socially and morally tolerant. We are proud of the broad range of Religious Education experiences that our pupils encounter at St Andrew’s, which include visitors and visits. Because of this, we have made links with the Muslim mosque in Maldon and the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in our village.
