Our Vision in Action
Our vision in the curriculum
Sharing the word of God;
Learning about Christian communities across the world;
Creating those 'wow' moments and ensuring everyone has access to the joys of God's kingdom;
Ensuring every child has the opportunity to shine their light and achieve their best;
Developing compassion through our Science lessons;
Our vision in the community
Our children have an excellent grasp on the meaning of belonging to a local and global community and the sense of responsibility that comes with belonging. Thereby developing their ability to empathise and make a small sacrifice to benefit others. Together we consider the beauty and fragility of our environment, the actions we take, and the impact these actions may have on the well-being of everyone. Our school community and curriculum actively embrace a responsibility for the world in which we live. We are diligent to show our connection with, and care for, the world in which we all live and care for the people who live in it, through:
- Eco-Council
- Charities of significance to our children
- Strong JSA with community events such as: Christmas Fair, Easter celebrations, school discos, fundraising events etc.
- Strong links with local Care Home, Nursery, Infant School and Church.
Shining our light in the wider community
Our children regularly and independently demonstrate the St Andrew's vision and values, and show God's love through their good works.
